Everyone has been waiting for months for some type of announcement that new Star Wars attractions will be added to Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, but for now we will continue to wait. Patiently. Kind of.
What has been announced is that Disney Cruise Line will be hosting a Star Wars day at sea aboard the Disney Fantasy for eight select sailings during the beginning of 2016.
On one day of the seven-night Western caribbean sailings, guests can enjoy a full day of Star Wars activities, including a deck party, meet-and-greets with favorite characters, unqiue food and drink options, special merchandise and there will even be some exclusive screenings of the Star Wars films; inlcuding the new Disney XD animated series, Star Wars Rebels.
Star Wars Day at Sea will only be on the Disney Fantasy sailings for January 9th & 23rd; February 6th & 20th; March 5th & 19th; and April 2nd & 16th, 2016. These sailings depart from Port Canaveral and stops include Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman and Disney Castway Cay.
